This site was constructed using XHTML CSS and one Javascript function, it is fully W3C compliant. The role this website played was as an information resource for students of Peterborough High School Cadet group. It had to match the general corporate branding of St Johns whilst still being easy to navigate for the students. We achieved this with a simple navigation structure that was designed around the modules the students took. We used very few images for this design with only the St Johns logo and the changeable background picture on the main page, the whole website also uses a fluid layout meaning that it can be viewed on a monitor of almost any size. This website is still ongoing being updated each time new content is generated. The Javascript function was used to randomise the banner image; this means that anyone with it turned off won't notice anything wrong. The banner text is just CSS styled text so that the page is more compatible with screen readers.
